ACT International Nepal provides a 7‑day intensive training on modern mushroom cultivation (Red & Shiitake), followed by a 40% subsidised enterprise support package for participants to start their own mushroom business.

Subsidy Information

Training cost: NPR 10,000 – Government subsidy 60% (NPR 6,000) – Participant pays only NPR 4,000. After training, participants can receive 40% subsidised materials for production units.

Target Beneficiaries

Women entrepreneurs, youth, farmers, cooperatives, low‑income families.

Market Opportunity

Mushrooms have strong demand in local markets, hotels, restaurants, health food stores, and Ayurveda shops. Processed products (powder, dried, capsules) offer additional income.
